vista x64 download fials

I've done this twice now after successfully downloading x86 using Firefox download manager. At the end I get a file save error andwhen I press retry it tells me it has done a successful save. What I wind up with is a 1k .iso file and a 4.1g .iso.part file that I can't do anything with. Anydea the cause? Any suggestions for workarounds, resolution? Thanks.
